KEL-EML stands for quality, reliability and engineering excellence. Located in Kasaragod, the northernmost district of Kerala, the Company occupies a unique place in the State’s industrial landscape as one of the few major manufacturing enterprises operating in this region. Over the years, KEL-EML has contributed significantly to industrial development, employment generation and the creation of technical capabilities in North Kerala.
With a strong presence in the railway and industrial sectors, KEL-EML has earned a reputation for delivering high-quality products and services that meet stringent customer requirements. Our specialized expertise, particularly in railway applications and electrical machines, continues to be the foundation of our growth and customer confidence.
The year 2025-26 marked a significant milestone in our journey. Through the commitment of our employees and the support of our stakeholders, the Company achieved its highest-ever turnover of ₹15.2 crore and returned to profitability, recording a marginal net profit. This achievement reflects the successful turnaround of the Company and the growing trust placed in us by our customers.
Today, KEL-EML is moving forward with renewed confidence. With the support of the Government of Kerala, we are pursuing modernization, diversification and technology-driven growth. Alongside our traditional strengths, we are exploring opportunities in advanced railway products, renewable energy systems, electric mobility solutions and other emerging engineering sectors.
